Benefit Consultant Sales Trainee

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic entry level candidate whose ultimate goal is to have a successful and rewarding career in group health insurance sales.   You will have the opportunity to be trained and mentored by our top sales professionals. This trainee program will allow you to perfect the following skills:

  • How to identify potential clients
  • Building long term relationships
  • Negotiation
  • Pipeline management
  • Health & Welfare Industry knowledge
  • Presentation and closing skills

The successful candidate should have:

·         A Degree in Risk Management and Insurance. Successful industry internship experience is a plus.

·         The ability and desire to sell

·         Excellent communication skills both oral and written

·         A confident and determined approach

·         Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection

·         A high degree of self-motivation and drive

·         The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·         The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment

·         Excellent problem solving skills

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to manage prospect pipeline through our CRM system – Saleforce

·         The ability to obtain your insurance licensing in both Life and Health within 60 days of hire
