Jersey City Medical Center Remain Partners

In June 2007, Corporate Synergies alerted your emlpoyer that the relationship between Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey and Jersey City Medical Center would cease. In a recent turn of events, Jersey City Medical Center has agreed to remain as a participating Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey network hospital.

HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU AS AN EMPLOYEE
If you have been using the Jersey City Medical Center, you can continue to do so without any increase in out of pocket $$. As always, in an emergency situation, you should go immediately to the nearest emergency facility, without worrying about network affiliations, to receive care.
